• What dimensional measurement equipment does 3D Metrisoft supply in Mexico?

  Three lines. Micro-Vu for vision and multisensor measurement, Coord3 for coordinate measuring machines, and ZEISS HandsOn Metrology for 3D scanning and industrial computed tomography. Rayco fixturing systems complete the catalog.

• Where is the calibration laboratory and which area does it serve?

  The laboratory is in Queretaro, in Poligono Empresarial Santa Rosa Jauregui, and serves the Bajio region and the rest of Mexico, with sales offices in Guadalajara and Monterrey. Calibration runs both in the laboratory and at the customer site, which is what the accredited scope covers, and the certificate is issued three days after calibration.

• Can I see the equipment measuring my part?

  Yes. 3D Metrisoft runs free demonstrations of all its equipment with the customer’s own parts — online, at the customer’s plant or at the Queretaro Tech Center. Every machine is delivered installed and with training on the measuring software. For anyone who needs the parts measured without investing in a machine, the dimensional measurement and inspection service is charged per job instead of per machine.

• What can the accredited laboratory calibrate, and under which method?

  The accredited scope covers two families of dimensional measurement equipment. On coordinate measuring machines, linear displacement from 25 mm to 1,000 mm with a CMC of (0.21 + 8×10⁻³ L) µm, under NMX-CH-10360-2-IMNC, the Mexican adoption of ISO 10360-2. On vision machines, the X and Y axes from 0.5 mm to 300 mm with a CMC of (0.78 + 9×10⁻³ L) µm, and the Z axis from 10 mm to 100 mm at 5 µm. Dimensional inspection runs under ASME Y14.5, with PJLA accreditation 89786 in both cases. The same laboratory calibrates the equipment 3D Metrisoft supplies.
